Tri-Town Babe Ruth
Player / Parent Information
Parents / Players
Each year, Tri-Town Babe Ruth Baseball enrolls approximately (112) players from Avon, Holbrook, and Randolph to play on the (8) TTBR baseball teams.  The TTBR teams are sponsored by businesses in the (3) towns, BUT each team's roster is filled with a mix of players from each town. Teams are not designated for a specific town.  Players must be prepared to practice and play in Avon, Holbrook, and Randolph.

Babe Ruth Baseball requires that a player’s Birth Date must be
AFTER April 30, 1995 and BEFORE May 1, 1998.
Based on this, the player age will be 13, 14, or 15 years old.

Team Managers evaluate and select players to fill their team rosters.
Placement is NOT guaranteed.
Team placement will take place in early February.

TTBR also offers an opportunity to play in the Babe Ruth Baseball District, Regional, and State Championships.  The Districts are played from end of June through early July, the Regionals are mid-July, and the State Championships is at the end of July.

Regular Season
The regular season will run from mid-April through mid-June.  The Registration Fee is currently $135. The Registration Fee helps cover the cost of the Babe Ruth Charter, insurance, uniforms, equipment, umpires, and field maintenance. The league supplies a shirt, cap, and socks.
Each team is scheduled to play (13) regular games and up to (6) playoff games.  The majority of the games will be played on Saturday and Sunday.  Teams will be scheduled to play both weekend and weeknight games by the middle of May.  The playoffs will be at the beginning of June and will end by June 15.

District All-Stars
The E-Mass Babe Ruth District All-Star games will run from the last week of June through the 2nd week of July.  Players will be nominated and invited to join the District All-Star teams by the TTBR Team Managers.

If a player accepts the All-Star nomination, the player must commit to a Summer All-Star schedule from mid-June 12 through the 1st week of August.

Summer Season
The Summer Travel Season runs from Mid-June to the beginning of August. This includes practices, (12) games, and playoffs.  The Summer Registration Fee is currently $150, which covers the same league expenses,  plus additional summer league fees.  The league supplies a shirt, cap, and socks.  The Summer League Teams will play in towns like Norwood, Quincy, Milton, Dedham, Weymouth, and Braintree.

The League understands that families have vacation plans during the summer months.  The size of the Summer League Team (up to 15 players) will allow for a player's family to make vacation plans.  Players who do not play on the Summer All-Star teams are still eligible to play on a Summer Travel Team.
